After testing and researching the routes, we found The Jade Forest to be the best place to farm Ghost Iron Ore. This might change depending on the time you farm and which server you are on. Below is the route we recommend you take to get the best possible results.
Ghost Iron Ore Farming in Valley of The Four Winds
Valley of The Four Winds was another great location we found for farming Ghost Iron ore. Although at times we found it a bit buggy, which wasn’t a big problem at all and will get sorted out pretty soon by blizzard anyway. Here is the route we recommend in Valley of The Four Winds.
If you do it right, there is a ton of gold to be made from farming Ghost Iron Ore. Not only can you sell it raw on the auction house, you can use it to craft other items in different professions so the demand will always be high.
To be able to mine Ghost Iron Ore you will need a mining skill of at least level 500. It is the same level ore as Cobalt ore in Wrath of the Lich King and Obsidium ore in Cataclysm.
